Seat Fitting For Ferrari Drivers – Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc
First up, Charles Leclerc visited Scuderia Ferrari at Maranello for his seat-fitting, the first time he sat in the Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow car – the car he’ll be driving for the 2019 Formula 1 season alongside his team-mate, Sebastian Vettel.
Whilst at the factory – Leclerc then went to meet Director and new Team Principal, Mattia Binotto, discussing the upcoming season and the car before then meeting the rest of the team who have been working on the car throughout winter break.
For Leclerc, the first time he’ll be working with the team will be for the upcoming testing session in Barcelona – starting on the 18th February up until the 21st. This is the first time that we’ll be seeing all the cars on-track, comparing them to one another.
Next up, we have Sebastian Vettel who visited the factory at Maranello the next day for his seat-fitting – again meeting with the new Team Principal and Director, Mattia Binotto with who he discussed the upcoming season, the car and the team’s targets.
For Vettel, this is his fifth season with the Scuderia Ferrari team and following last year – it looks like the team has had a team reshuffle to comeback more determined, ready to battle and potentially win the championship – we have the unknown factor of how other teams have developed don’t forget so it may not be as easy….
Throughout his time at Ferarri, Sebastian Vettel is currently ranked at the third most successful driver at Ferrari after Michael Schumacher and Niki Lauda.
