The teams have announced which tyres they’re going to be taking to the Spanish Grand Prix 2016.
Most of the teams have only chosen one set of the hard tyres (orange-marked) opting for the softer tyres instead.
Ferrari will be taking 8 sets of the soft tyres for each of their drivers compared to their closest-rivals Mercedes who are taking 7 sets each and choosing an extra medium set for their races at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
Haas are the only other team to be doing the same as Ferrari – opting for 8 sets of the soft tyres for their drivers too….
On the other hand, Sauber have chosen to take 5 sets of the softer tyres for their drivers.
One thing we’re seeing is that most of the teams have chosen to stay away from the hard compound tyres meaning that we’re going to have different strategies throughout the race, hopefully adding more action and excitement to the race!
Let’s not forget about the updates which are coming for most of the teams – it’s going to be a great Spanish Grand Prix 2016!
