Singapore Grand Prix Qualifying

We’re back and ready for Qualifying – here you can see all the latest from the paddock ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix Qualifying Session.

There’s a lot of talk about the new takeover by Liberty Media – many of the teams are looking forward to the changes and it looks like this will be benefitting the smaller teams as well as the bigger teams in terms of income.

Vandoorne – “It’s a massive relief getting into Formula 1 and now I have months to get ready and to prepare. I know the engineers and the mechanics so I’m very happy.

Obviously I’ve been in a good position to learn from them so it’s been very positive learning from two world champions(Alonso and Button). They’re both different characters and it’s nice to see how they build up to the weekend which I can see and learn from for next year.

That’s your top 10 ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix tomorrow – there are a few question marks about where other drivers will be starting down in the grid so we will be bringing you a roundup of qualifying along with driver & team reactions.

Brief Reaction

Rosberg – “Yeah, definitely happy with that one for my 200th grand prix, it really went well and I didn’t know how things were going to be in qualifying so I knew I had to do all I can.

Ricciardo – “I’m pleased enough, the aim was to be on the front row so I’m happy. We made improvements for qualifying and it came good in qualifying. It was a clean lap.

Hamilton – “It’s not been my weekend so far, not frustrating but the team did a great job and hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to get one up and get that one/two for the team.
