Qualifying Reaction (Brief Reaction) – Malaysian Grand Prix

Jenson Button – “Very happy, the car is a bit more normal now and I’m enjoying qualifying now. P9 isn’t too bad considering. I think we’re in a reasonable position for tomorrow and we’ve improved the car a lot since yesterday – it’s been interesting with temperatures dropping so I’m pretty happy with that.

Hamilton – “I want to say a big thank you to all the fans for their support here so a big thank you and secondly a big thank you to the whole team who continue to improve. Great work done coming into this weekend and the car felt fantastic. My lap could have been faster.

Rosberg – “I’m going for pole, what else would I be doing out there – Lewis’ lap was very fast out there but unfortunately I made a mistake on the last corner. Second place, I’ve got to live with that now and it doesn’t mean that the victory is not possible.

Verstappen – “I think the whole weekend has been quite positive for me, we made a few changes after Singapore and everything is looking promising. We found a good setup and happy with the car.

Hamilton – “I think they’re going to be very quick this weekend. Tomorrow providing the conditions are like this, the course is a lot better, it’s smoother and it works a lot better with the tyres. I think we are looking quite strong also so hopefully this is the case tomorrow.

Lots more to come soon ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix tomorrow! 🙂
