Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg Crash – Spanish Grand Prix 2016

Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg Crash at the Spanish Grand Prix – So who’s to blame??

Many people said that this was likely to happen and that it was only a matter of time before the two Mercedes’ drivers came together.

I personally didn’t think it would happen in the way that it did as they should be more prepared for situations like this however it does make for great viewing and luckily no one got hurt.

With all the pressure, tension and build-up for the Spanish Grand Prix 2016 we knew that we had a great race on our hands.

The two had come together before at the 2014 Belgian Grand Prix but this is the first time that an incident like this has caused both Mercedes’ drivers to drop out of the race.

So, who’s to blame for the collision?

Niki Lauda put the blame on Lewis Hamilton however many people are putting more blame on Nico Rosberg.

I think it’s both drivers at fault but more responsibility for the collision is down to Nico Rosberg.

Lewis Hamilton was on the racing line and he was entitled to his space but I think Nico Rosberg pushed his team-mate too far causing him to go off-track, onto the grass, spinning round, hitting him  and ending up with both of them out of the race and more importantly – out of the points…

Who do you think is at fault?

Do you think the team can work together and move forward or will this push tensions even further?
