
Sauber F1 – Ahead of The Austrian Grand Prix
Ah, so it’s another back-to-back race weekend with the Austrian Grand Prix fast approaching! The race this weekend will be taking place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.
Here’s what the Sauber team have to say ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix!

“The race calendar is still keeping us very busy with the next back-to-back events.”
“Spielberg has a really nice green setting with it’s scenery beautiful. The track is quite a fast one and the last two corners before the start and finish line are my favourite as they are very quick and you have to drive them precisely.“
“Then we have the British Grand Prix, another circuit which I enjoy driving on and also one of my favourite tracks.“
Facts about the Red Bull Ring in Austria, Spielberg
The track in Spielberg is a braking and traction circuit with medium downforce levels.
The balance between the number of corners and lengths of the straights is similar to the Montreal track in Canada however the nature of the corners is different – flowing corners are in place of chicanes along with the changes in elevation
Braking is also a key factor which most teams have to consider – along with the tyre selections.
