Mick Schumacher Will Make Formula 1 Test Debut For Ferrari
Mick Schumacher, the son of seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, has been making his way through the ranks and will now be making his Formula 1 Test Debut for Ferrari in April.
Last year, Maurizio Arrivabene, the then team-principal at Ferrari, made a statement saying “the door of Maranello is always open” for the 20-year-old German driver meaning he could follow in the footsteps of his history-making father. Over the winter, things progressed and the announcement was made that Mick had signed up to the Ferrari driver academy following his European Formula 3 Championship success.
The testing week is scheduled to be a busy one for Mick, not only will he making his testing debut in Formula 1 but he’ll also be making his Formula 2 debut at Bahrain this weekend.
After his F2 races, Schumacher will then spend the Monday with Ferrari to work on preparations for his first run in the SF90 which will take place on Tuesday.
