Mercedes CONFIRMS Bottas as Hamilton’s Team Mate For 2017
Since the announcement of Nico Rosberg’s shock retirement and after weeks of speculation, Valtteri Bottas has been confirmed as Lewis Hamilton’s team mate at Mercedes for the 2017 Formula 1 Season.
With Felipe Massa coming out of retirement, he will be returning to the Williams team alongside Lance Stroll who will be making his debut in the sport.
Speaking at the announcement, Bottas said the following – “My goal is to immediately get as many points available that’s possible in the car.”
Deputy Chief of Williams, Claire Williams said the following once the announcement had been made – “I Would like to take this opportunity to thank him on behalf of the whole team and wish him a successful season as he joins Mercedes.”
