Max Verstappen Wins The 2023 Canadian Grand Prix and Equals Senna’s record.
Another victory for the Red Bull Racing driver who has now made it 6 victories from the 8 races in the 2023 Formula 1 season!
The Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso seems to be creeping closer to the Red Bull Racing driver however he is showing a dominant display for the season so far – despite tyre issues here and there.
The 2023 Canadian Grand Prix was a lights-to-flag triumph for the driver and team with Red Bull celebrating their 100th victory and Verstappen equalling the level of Ayrton Senna for 41 race wins.
Not only does he equal on a great record, Max Verstappen has also extended his lead in the championship.
Verstappen: “Of course, I am very happy right now. It was not a very straightforward race because the tyres were not really getting in their window.”
“it was very cold today compared to Friday and we were sliding around quite a bit but, we made it work.”
