Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari Fastest in Final Pre-Testing in Spain
Some might say that it’s only due to the NEW Pirelli ultra soft tyre compound however Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari have led the way by being fastest in the final day of pre-testing in Barcelona, Spain.
Setting the best lap of 1m 23.477s – this puts Raikkonen almost a second up on his nearest rival, Daniil Kvyat in the Red Bull and they’re the only two drivers who used the new ultra soft compound.
It might not have been an easy week for Renault but they had a great reason to be happy on the final day of pre-testing,their driver, Kevin Magnussen brought home the day’s highest lap total of 153 which is just ahead of Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen.
Unfortunately Mclaren’s struggles still seem to be continuing from the 2015 season with Fernando Alonso only managing to bring home three laps due to technical problems on his car – such a shame to see but hopefully there’ll be a better outcome in texting ‘re still continuing from the 2015 season with Fernando Alonso only managing to bring home three laps due to technical problems on his car.
