Williams – “Jenson would fit into the team well”
It’s one of the most-talked about rumours and before the summer break, everyone wanted to know about the switch for Jenson Button and his return to the Williams Racing team in 2017.
With McLaren saying that they’re ‘not discussing anything’ until September, things seem to be a little bit different from the Williams side…..
Saying that “Jenson would fit into the team well“
Both Massa and Bottas’ contracts will run out at the end of this season however it seeming more likely that the Williams team will be retaining Bottas compared to his team-mate Massa who hasn’t been performing as consistently due to issues with the car.
Button will also be out of contract with McLaren at the end of this season and until something is confirmed – the rumours will be never ending….
The Williams team are putting a lot of time and investment into the development of their car for the 2017 season and if Jenson does make the switch, he will be returning to the team he began his F1 career with.
