Brief Reaction – Singapore Grand Prix Qualifying

Vettel – “I was struggling this morning – I’m full of adrenaline so I might not make any sense right now. I was shouting as loud as they were (crowd). “

“I need to calm down, I knew that we had it in us and now this is just great.”

Verstappen – “It’s just a shame that we couldn’t put it on pole. We will see during the race as it will be difficult to pass him so we will see.”

Ricciardo – “I’m a little envious today, I will accept that today we were defeated but tomorrow I think we’re in for the win. I’m confident.”

Vettel – “Tomorrow is a long race and we had a difficult night last night. Hopefully tomorrow we should have a better car.”

Christian Horner (Red Bull Team Principal) following Qualifying – “We’ve been quickest in every session and when it comes to this point, when it counts, we didn’t have that last little bit but we are happy with a front-row start and third as well.”

“They are slightly quicker on the straights compared to us – the race isn’t won on Saturday and we haven’t got anything to lose whereas Seb (Vettel) has the championship to think about.”

There’s lots more coming soon including driver and team reaction following the Singapore Grand Prix Qualifying Session.
