Sergio Perez Leaving Racing Point At The End of 2020 Season
There’s been a lot of talk surrounding Racing Point and Sebastian Vettel and since taking time off due to Covid-19, Sergio Perez’s name has had somewhat of a question mark next to it about his future in the sport.
The Mexican driver has said that the 2020 season will be his last with the team, even though he signed a three-year contract last year.
Sergio Perez: “It hurts a bit as I bet on the team during very tough times. Everything in life always has a beginning and an end and after seven years together, the time with the team will come to an end after this season.”
With many people suggesting that Nico Hulkenberg would make a comeback due to his great performance, it’s now become an even bigger option for Sebastian Vettel….
The rumours have been circulating for a few weeks now and it’s been mentioned that Racing Point have been speaking to Vettel about the possibility of joining the team next year – when it re-brands as Aston Martin.
Could we have another announcement soon? Fans on social media certainly hope so…
