Nico Rosberg Under Investigation – British Grand Prix
Nico Rosberg is currently facing the stewards after the radio messages between himself and the team during the British Grand Prix.
He started suffering with gearbox problems and radioed his team – “gearbox problem” to which his engineer replied “avoid 7th gear Nico” along with a few settings to switch to during the race.
The rules are being criticised widely, with many people now wanting team radio back but with a limit.
I personally think that team radio should be allowed when it’s to do with issues like this and with settings as the cars are really complicated with all the settings available (see more here) but what I don’t agree with is teams telling their drivers how to race when there’s no problem with the car.
Rosberg has now left the stewards with an outcome on the result coming soon so more updates as we have it!
