Mercedes Confirms Valtteri Bottas for 2020
It’s been something which has been discussed for a while with people wondering about Valtteri Bottas’ future with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team however today, the announcement was made – Valtteri Bottas will remain with Mercedes for 2020.
Joining the team back in 2017, he has played a key role in the team’s victory for the constructors’ championships for the past two seasons.
This year, we’ve seen a new side to Valtteri Bottas – especially at the start of the season with the driver pushing his team-mate and offering exciting racing.
At the moment, the 30-year-old driver is currently second in the World Championship standings at 188 points so we’re excited to see how things will pan out in the second half of the season.

Valtteri Bottas: “I am very happy and proud to be a part of the team for fourth season and wish to thank every team member and the board of Mercedes for their trust and belief in me.”
“My performances have been getting stronger and better with each year and this is a great way to kick start the second half of the season.”
