McLaren 2019 Sponsors (Announcements So Far)

McLaren 2019 Sponsors – The Announcements So Far…

McLaren are a team that have had their ups and downs however last year, it was mentioned that McLaren brought in a higher number of sponsors than other teams – thanks to Zak Brown and his advertising / marketing targets.

This year, it’s showing no signs of stopping – with another two new sponsors being announced for the 2019 Formula 1 season. Let’s take a look at the two new sponsors below.

HUSKI Chocolate

Huski Chocolate is a Swedish chocolate drink brand which describes itself as “the ultimate chocolate drink for adventure” – incorporating itself well into the world of Formula 1.

It’s expected that the logo will be placed on the rear wing of the 2019 McLaren car and the logo will also be on the racing overalls of Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz.

BAT (British American Tobacco)

McLaren announced today that they are partnering with British American Tobacco (BAT) and focusing solely on BAT’s potentially reduced risk products, technology and innovation.

This is a multi-year partnership and centred on accelerating BAT’s transforming agenda with the agreement bringing the two companies together with a shared interest in technology, innovation and design – as well as the clear desire to deliver significant and meaningful change in their respective industries.

Zak Brown, Chief Executive of McLaren Racing: “We welcome BAT to the McLaren team and support their ambition of delivering meaningful and lasting change through innovation. BAT’s transformation agenda is central to this partnership and we’re pleased to share our technical experience and expertise in helping to accelerate this.”

There’s no denying that McLaren is one of the biggest teams in Formula 1 and despite it looking like much more attention is being put into the marketing and advertising side of the company – they do have the ability to invest in key departments.

They just need to make sure they have the right people in the right places to get their car up the grid – not only battling for points.

There’s not long left until we see the car and all the teams in testing very soon!
