After Qualifying Reaction

Hamilton – “Obviously very happy today, I was only made aware of that record as we came to this weekend. I feel incredibly proud and honoured to be amongst these drivers and I’m very proud of that. Today I had a very strong feeling and that last lap was incredible. Race by race, I continue to praise the team and what they do.”

Rosberg – “I  think best explanation is that he put in good laps, I had a good weekend too but wasn’t quick enough. That’s it.

Vettel – “First of all, I wasn’t that happy with the first shot in Q3 and I lost the rhythm a little bit. I lost a bit of time on the last corner and I was losing time in the beginning and the end. I’m happy for us to lock out the second row as a team but not entirely happy with the gap from us to them – they’ve been in their own world. Every out lap you do, all the fans stand and wave, I love the support and a big thanks to everyone round the track and hopefully we can give something back tomorrow.

Hamilton – “I didn’t damage the tyres, I just had a little lock-up but the flat spot is minimal, you can’t feel it so I don’t think it will be a problem for tomorrow.

More reaction to come soon before the Italian Grand Prix tomorrow! 🙂
