Hungarian Grand Prix Qualifying
Due to the weather conditions, qualifying is starting later than planned….
Cars are now making their way on track after the safety car returns.
Qualifying 1
Cars now on-track, the circuit is still wet and conditions look like they’re going to worsen in the next few minutes with more rain on the way.
Expecting more heavy rain to come soon.
Vettel – “heavy, heavy rain – very heavy rain“
Chaos on track for the drivers – difficult to see much with the rain which is getting heavier….
Qualifying has been RED FLAGGED
Mercedes are in trouble, they’re currently in the knock-out zone with 13:08 minutes of qualifying left.
Qualifying will now resume with Max Verstappen first out on track followed by the Mercedes team-mates.
Session red-flagged after Marcus Ericssons’ accident – barriers were being repaired.
Drivers are now back on track and continuing with Qualifying 1
Hamilton goes off-track.
Felipe Massa now goes off-track – session Red-Flagged again.

Drivers on the track however it’s been red-flagged again due to another incident involving Rio Haryanto.
The session will NOT be restarted, that’s the end of Q1.

Sebastian Vettel first car on track followed by Bottas.
The weather conditions seem to be better, the track is still wet however the rain has calmed down compared to the first session.

The track conditions are nothing compared to the beginning of the session – the track started off being completely wet with heavy, heavy rain – now, the track is nearly completely dry.
