Formula 1 – Changes being made to Baku Kerbs – After it’s debut earlier today, the FIA are making some changes to the Baku City Circuit Kerbs overnight ahead of practice 3 and qualifying tomorrow….
Today was the day!!
After a long wait and seeing previews here and there, we finally managed to see the Baku City Circuit in full – making it’s debut with the practice session earlier today.
Overall, everything went smoothly however we did see a few little issues when it came to the kerbs around the track, bolts coming loose which resulted in some cut tyres for the drivers.
At Turn 6 and 12, the kerbs are being removed and in their place will be a painted version to avoid any further problems going into Practice 3 and Qualifying tomorrow.
Another part of the track which is being changed overnight is the pit-lane – it’s being moved to the left, made longer and will also have a new ‘Pit Entry’ sign at the entrance.
