Confirmed: Robert Kubica Racing For Williams In 2019
Well, well, well! Look what we have, a new announcement from Williams and this is confirming that Robert Kubica will complete the team’s driver line-up for the 2019 Formula 1 season, partnering with George Russell in the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Impressing the team throughout the year and undergoing many tests for Williams in 2017, prior to taking on the role of Reserve & Development driver in 2018, he’s made his way through and from next year, he will be back in the sport – something which many fans will be happy hear!
Before his accident, Robert Kubica managed to get a total of 12 podiums along with a race victory in 2008 – even though it’s been 10 years since his win, he’s just as motivated and determined to do well for the team.
Robert Kubica: “Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me during what was a difficult period of my life over these last few years. It has been a challenging journey to make it back into Formula One and especially on the grid but what seemed almost impossible is now beginning to feel possible.”
