The Best Cars For Thrillseekers On A Budget

The Best Cars For Thrillseekers On A Budget

Collaborative Post for The Formula 1 Girl

There are plenty of people out there that love a good thrill, there’s something about the surge or adrenaline that you get from doing something exciting – giving you a proper buzz. From a car drivers perspective, we love the idea of driving a fast car – especially if it accelerates quickly. (Remember to always drive with care and respect the roads you’re on)

The trouble is, we aren’t millionaires so the big thrill that comes with a supercar is something that you won’t get all too often and if you want to purchase a fast supercar, chances are that it’l be way out of our budget. However – there are still plenty of great vehicles out there which will make you feel like you’re in a supercar (almost) without having to pay a crazy amount of money.

Here is a selection of the top three cars for thrillseekers on a budget.

Audi TT

Does the TT stand for Tremendous Thrills?

Probably not but you get the idea! This is a car that’s built to please and all for a fairly affordable price. The Audi used car market is rife with TT’s, and there are many options out there for you – including the newest version.

From a performance point of view, this is a pocket rocket. It’s really nippy, accelerating quickly and one of the main points about the car is how well it handles. It’s the type of car which will make you feel safe whilst also providing you with speed so you can even visit a track to feel like you’re a racing driver.

Honda Civic Type R

Honda released a new Civic Type R towards the latter end of 2017. It burst onto the scene in pretty much the same way as its predecessors; very fast, and very fun.

The Type R is a car you can use day to day with no problems at all. There’s enough room for passengers and shopping (an essential) and the engine is an absolute treat.

Under the hood, you’ve got a good 2 litres that can boast over 300bhp. As you can imagine, this makes the car exceptionally fast considering it’s not specifically billed as a fast car. The best thing is that there are plenty of Honda used car offers out there, meaning you can find this car for a very low price.

So, without spending a fortune, you can have that feeling of being of a fast car without losing the affection of your partner because you wanted to spend all your money on a fast car – fast, affordable and all-round winner without spending a big amount of money.

BMW 2 Series

BMW is very much a premium brand, much like Audi, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find some absolute steals on the used car market.

You can get your hands on a BMW 2 Series for way less than you probably expect. What’s more, you get to sit behind the wheel of a car that’s designed to thrill.

It’s engine roars, the tyres grip the tarmac and you feel like you’re going on an adventure with every jolt of acceleration. You can even buy a turbo engine version of the car if you want some added ‘oomf’ too.

All three of these cars find their way on the list because they’re all available for under 30k! That’s right, you don’t have to pay every penny you have in order to get a car that will blow your nose right off your face.

If you like thrills and love driving fast then these are the options for you.

(Always drive with car and respect the roads you’re on)
